MALAYSIA WONDERFUL
I found me a paradise
I’ll stay there the rest of my life
It’s called Malaysia, Wonderful Malaysia
Skies have never been so blue

Beautiful countryside
Ocean all around so wide
I’ll stay there
Yes, I’m gonna stay there the rest of my life
Yes, I’m gonna stay right there

Malaysia, Wonderful Malaysia
People you love right away
Not enough hours in the day
The nights seem to slip away
In Malaysia
Yes, I’m gonna stay there the rest of my life
Oh yes, I’m gonna stay right there

Dara Puspita

January 17, 2011

Dara Puspita (Flower Girls) was the most successful girl flower power band from Indonesia. They formed in Surabaya in 1964: Titiek Adji Rachman (lead guitar), her sister Lies Soetisnowati Adji Rachman (bass guitar), Ani Kusuma (rhythm guitar) and Susy Nander (drums). When they recorded their first album “Jang Pertama” in 1966, Titiek Hamzah was playing bass while Lies had moved over to the rhythm guitar. In 1968, they left to tour Europe. They returned home in 1971 and disbanded shortly thereafter.
